In order to continue to provide a professional level of service in the future, our department is constantly growing and striving to improve through equipment purchases, training, and recruitment. A Message from Chief Turner
On behalf of the Jefferson City Fire Department, I would like to thank you for visiting our website. The Jefferson City Fire Department is a combination fire department, made up of thirty highly-trained, dedicated career and reserve firefighters serving our community. Through fire response and suppression, emergency medical first responder services, vehicle extrication and rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, and public fire education and prevention, the members of the Jefferson City Fire Department strive to achieve the highest level of customer service.
As the Fire Chief, I ask you to take a look at the services and opportunities the department has to offer. Whether it is fire extinguisher training to local employers, fire and life safety inspections at businesses, free smoke detector installations, or emergency response and operations, you can expect us to be responsive to your needs.
