Jefferson City Industrial Board
The Jefferson City IDB was created in 1966 to foster economic growth within the City. Its duties include to acquire, own, lease, and dispose of properties in order to promote industry and develop trade by attracting manufacturing, industrial and corporation enterprises to locate in Jefferson City. The board also has the authority to deliver tax abatements, generate TIF agreements and acquire loans and grants for development within the City. The IDB currently oversees property located in the Jefferson City Industrial Park and the Jefferson City Industrial Complex. The board has over 100 acres of developed property available for sale.
