Industrial Development Board
The Jefferson City Industrial Development Board was created in 1966 to foster economic growth within the city. The Board acquires, owns, and leases properties to promote industry and to develop trade by encouraging the establishment and relocation of manufacturing, industrial, and corporate enterprises in Jefferson City. The Board has the authority to deliver tax abatements, generate TIF agreements, and acquire loans and grants for development in Jefferson City while also overseeing the property located in the Jefferson City Industrial Park and the Jefferson City Industrial Complex. Over 100 acres of developed property are currently available for sale through the Industrial Development Board, and multiple of these tracks have rail access.
To inquire about available property, call the City Manager at 865-475-9071.
