Home Government City Budget

City Budget

Jefferson City’s fiscal year begins on July 1 of each year and ends on June 30 of the following year. Tennessee Code requires that all state and city funds must first be appropriated before being expended. In compliance with this requirement, Jefferson City adopts and operates under an annual budget that is decided prior to the start of a new fiscal year.
